New School Year!
August marks the start of another school year for many of the college students in our congregation. Please join us in praying for the students and for our part in ministering to them. Watch for the next newsletter to get the latest on what we having going on here at Water’s Edge to help welcome back the college students and to kick of another semester.

There will be no Men’s breakfast this month. Check next months newsletter for September dates!
Neighborhood Groups-
Sunday, August 12th
This month neighborhood groups will be on Sunday, August 12th in place of the regularly scheduled Sunday service. Times and locations vary by group. Please be sure to contact your group leader to get the details for your meeting. If you don’t know which group you are a part of, please contact the church office.
Water’s Edge Kids Club!
Continuing- Every Thursday 2-3:30pm
The Water’s Edge Kids Club will go through August 16th. That means there will be three more meeting before we end for the summer. This is a great opportunity for kids, ages 4-10 to come learn about the bible in a safe, fun, outdoor environment. Please feel free to invite friends and neighbors!! Parents are welcome to stay and help out.
Who? Water’s Edge Children plus any friends and neighbors they want to invite ages 4-10
What? Fun outdoor bible teaching, games, and activities
Where? The Brinkman’s backyard, 921 N. 4th St. Marquette
When? Every Thursday afternoon from 2 -3:30pm, June 14th- August 16th (with break for 4th of July)
Sunday Shoot & Family Picnic-
Sunday, August 19th @ 3:00pm
Come out and spend an afternoon at the Kasten’s hobby farm! We will share in a potluck style meal and have fun outdoor games for all ages. Bring a dish to pass and come enjoy a great time of fellowship!! Only two more Sundays shoots are planned for this year so be sure and get out for one to experience a Sunday afternoon with the Water’s Edge crew!
